Tools for Creating a Conceptual Frame

With a background in exhibitions in Milan, Paris, and New York, I approach photography as a form of contemporary art. A meaningful and profound creative image is not created through random filters, but through the deliberate use of artistic techniques.

• Experimenting with Long Exposures (Motion Blur): Time and movement can be captured in various ways. Using controlled motion blur and light trails allows me to convey inner dynamics, a dreamlike quality, cinematic drama, or the fluidity of the moment. The resulting images are “lively, ” mystical, and airy.
  
• Experimental and complex lighting: We move away from clichéd “flood” lighting. We employ harsh, directional beams that create graphic, noir-style shadows; colored light filters; projections of textures directly onto the body and face; and a blend of continuous and strobe lighting. In this type of shoot, light becomes a full-fledged participant in the narrative.
  
• Textures and Tbilisi’s Hidden Geometry: Creative photography requires a unique context. Instead of the usual studios, we can utilize the city’s Brutalist architecture, hidden futuristic lofts, textured concrete, abandoned spaces with complex natural light, or conceptual studios with unconventional props.
  

How is work on an art project organized?

Unlike a standard photo shoot, a conceptual shoot requires thorough preparation. We don’t just look for random angles on set; instead, we construct the future visual story step by step.

• Research and Mood Board: We discuss your request in detail. We study references from cinema, contemporary painting, or the fashion industry, develop an overall concept, and finalize the shoot’s color palette and clothing styles.
  
• Complete freedom on set: You don’t need to know how to pose professionally or freeze in uncomfortable positions. My job is to guide your movement and create an atmosphere where you can exist naturally. We capture pure movement, spontaneous gestures, the distortion of space, and genuine expressions of personality.
  
• Artistic post-production: The selection and editing of an art session are a continuation of the artistic process. Color correction can range from deep monochrome to high-contrast color, enhancing the mood inherent in the shot.
  

1. Concept Development: We explore the idea in detail, put together a mood board, select a location, and plan the styling (ranging from avant-garde looks to minimalist casual, where light will be the focal point).

2. Official booking: The date for your creative project is officially reserved in my shooting calendar after you pay a non-refundable deposit of ₾100.

3. Delivery of the Visual Manifesto: The finished series of photos is uploaded to a personal, private online gallery, from which you can download the files with a single click. All photos are delivered in their original high quality.
